The surface of a ceramic tile is composed of enamels (glass). We suggest protection with carpets near refrigerators, sinks and cabinets, to absorb possible falls from sharp objects. Recalling that the composition of the enamel on the surface is a type of glass, a material of low elasticity.

 

The quality of the laying will also imply resistance to accidental impacts. Empty space in the laying mortar will compromise the resistance of the ceramic coating.
