How to identify or know if a ceramic coating has slip resistance?

SPECIFICATIONS

According to technical standards, the dynamic friction coefficient determines whether ceramic coatings have characteristics for environments where they require products with slip resistance. This test is performed in accredited laboratories, according to technical standard NBR 13818, according to the classes below:

Class 1 – <0,4: Satisfactory for normal installations.

Class 2 – >0,4: Recommended for use where slip resistance is desired.

The specification indicated in the product name must also be observed:

NAT Products – indicated for indoor wet areas, such as bathroom box, service areas, covered balconies.

HARD Products – indicated for wet outdoor areas, such as sidewalks and pool edges.
