What types of adhesive mortar exist on the market?
INSTALLATIONThrough NBR 14081/98, adhesive mortars are designated in four types:
ACI: Adhesive Mortar for indoor use;
ACII: Adhesive Mortar for indoor and outdoor use;
ACIII: High Strength Adhesive Mortar;
ACIII E: Special Adhesive Mortar.
Some manufacturers indicate the mortar for a specific use, which can be followed, such as mortar for large formats, mortar for laying on drywall, mortar for swimming pools, etc.
