There are two types of Porcelain tile on the market, Technical Porcelain tile and Enameled Porcelain tile.

 

Technical: It is the one that receives the decoration and the color in the mass itself: through dyes, micronized dyes, soluble salts, among others;

 

Enameled: It is a unique mass that receives its color through enameling and decoration. In this way, all material that contains enamel on the surface will have PEI, defined by the manufacturer, in accordance with the Technical Standards.

Enameled Porcelain tile = Water absorption ≤ 0,50%
